Consistent heat and moisture in the whole row

Look closely at this picture of row 1401 at two weeks of age.  It is steaming out the top of the fleece covering.  At 8:00 AM, with a cool morning, it is nice to see how consistent the whole row is in “heat and moisture”…

Yesterday the temperature was 152° F.  We have been blending the drier ends of the row with the wetter portions of the row, and it pays off in ease of maintaining / adding water in future turns.  Our efforts help end up with a higher quality humus when finished.
